Nick Lafarriere - Alberta, Canada

After fishwreck contacted Nick about creating artwork, starting with the Barramundi, Nick realized that he wanted to add catching one of these fish to his bucket list. Fishwreck initially reached out to Nick after seeing some of his exceptional work. Unfortunately, weeks passed without any reply, and we had given up hope of having him on board. To our surprise, Nick apologized for the late reply, explaining that he had been away guiding in the Arctic for 6 weeks. Since then, we have developed a strong working relationship and a great friendship with this young, talented, award-winning artist. Fishwreck owes a great deal to Nick, not only for his art but also for his insight and knowledge.

His remarkable talent was identified by his teachers and they encouraged him to explore his potential.  It's a joy to work with Craig's art with all of its natural beauty and complexity lending itself to both apparel and boat wraps.

With over 20 years of experience in graphic design and production, our inspiration comes from the ocean. There is something truly special about its vast expanse and the challenges that fishing brings. Whether it's the thrill of reeling in a big catch or simply being surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the sea, there's no denying the magic of spending time on the water with friends.
